Conservatives Need to Start Getting Serious About Standing Up to Federal Law Enforcement
The Department of Justice recently announced it will mobilize the FBI against parents protesting public school mask policies, harsher pandemic measures such as social distancing, and harmful curricula such as Critical Race Theory and courses that feature books which contain graphic sexual content and the normalization of pedophilia.
What you’re seeing now isn’t simply about public education, this whole situation is the culmination of twenty years of lead up to a police state no one is truly prepared to live under. This all comes after the situations regarding the radical school boards in Loudoun and Fairfax County, Virginia, began to go viral online, showing heated arguments between school board members and community parents.
According to Fox News, in a “letter to Biden, the National School Boards Association asked that the federal government examine whether actions can be taken to stop the vitriol and violence using the Gun-Free School Zones Act and the Patriot Act, the controversial statute enacted after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.”
In the letter, NSBA alludes to a minuscule number of incidents to suggest that parents who sharply criticize the decisions of school boards are or perhaps partaking in “domestic terrorism and hate crimes."
Little to no evidence of threats of violence against school board members have been provided to the media, and in terms of “vitriol and violence”, the only violence that has taken place was the arresting of a Loudoun County parent who exposed that the district covered up the sexual assault of his daughter by a transgendered boy, who was dragged off by the police in the middle of the school board meeting in which many other parents were in attendance.
In a recent report from WJLA regarding the parent, 48-year-old Scott Smith’s arrest was categorized as “obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct.” Anyone who watches the video can easily see the real reason behind Smith’s unjustified arrest- he was exposing those who protected a sexual predator not once, but on multiple occasions including a reported rape of a minor at another school by the same offender. This echos the assault and tazing of journalist Andrew Meyer almost fifteen years ago by police when then-senator John Kerry was asked uncomfortable questions regarding the 2004 election.
Not only should free thinking people concerned with their government pull their kids out of public education, they should stop the blanket “back the blue”at all cost mentality and understand that federal law enforcement has nothing to do with protecting people- it has everything to do with enforcing the political agenda of Washington at gunpoint.
The FBI and related federal law enforcement bodies such as the DEA and ATF should not be trusted, and are part of a dystopian federal regime that strives to take away parental rights, free speech and property.
These cases such as what we’re seeing regarding school boards illustrate the weakness of the modern-conservative approach on two fronts —schooling and federal law enforcement. It’s not to reform these institutions. Abolition and defunding should be on the table. To be sure, people running for school boards and infiltrating the bureaucracy will be needed to expose the rot. But it should serve a long-term purpose where whistleblowers’ unmasking of bureaucratic and deep state improprieties contributes to the case for defunding and abolishing these institutions, which are hostile to regular, working and middle class Americans who simply want to live their lives peacefully.
